South Leicestershire Local Group
The South Leicestershire Local Group of the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust meet at 7.30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month from September to November and January to March for indoor meetings in the Village Hall. Typically, a speaker will give a presentation on any aspect of wildlife followed by questions, then tea/coffee and biscuits.
The group also organises a few outings during the Spring/Summer months, mostly local but sometimes a coach outing further afield, searching out anything from insects to Ospreys.
For more information on the group contact Bruce White tel. 07919 935496 or email bruceywhite@yahoo.co.uk.
