Fitcamp55 is designed exclusively for the over 55’s to help improve overall fitness and flexibility. The fitness element consists of exercise circuits that will strengthen your muscles and skeletal system and improve your cardiovascular fitness. There is an emphasis on motor skills training which will improve coordination and balance. After the circuit, we work on flexibility to keep your muscles and joints mobile and supple, and maintain a good posture. Fitcamp55 is a great way to improve and maintain your functional fitness for everyday life, making the things you enjoy so much easier to do. Your class is led by an instructor who holds a specialist fitness qualification for working with adults over 60.


Kettlebells have been around for about 300 years, and there’s a very good reason they are still being used – they work!! This classic piece of gym equipment works like no other to firm, tone and strengthen muscles. Working with kettlebells will help you become more coordinated, flexible and will burn lots of calories! Your cardiovascular fitness will improve and they will help you manage your weight. In short, they can be used to achieve any fitness goal. To be effective however, they have to be used correctly and safely, so a class led by an advanced Kettlebell instructor and Personal Trainer will ensure you use the right approach to get the most benefit.
